ReadAIrr is a renamed fork of Readarr. Some inherited screenshots, executable names, config keys, API labels, and custom-script environment variables still say
Readarrwhere the current app repo still requires that compatibility name. {.is-info}

#Author Details
The author details page has a book monitoring filter in the toolbar. Use All, Monitored, or Unmonitored to filter the Books tab and the Series tab without changing the monitoring state of any book.
Use Book Monitoring or Book Editor when you want to actually change which books are monitored.
The Authors index has a page-local Filter authors search box. This is separate from the top header search, which is the entry point for adding new authors or books.

- Filter - Filter the current view
The Books index has a page-local filter and server-backed paging/search in the current App code. Use that page filter to narrow existing library books. Use the top header search or Add New page only when searching metadata for new content to add.
#Series
The Series page shows series groups from the current library. It has its own Filter series search box, view options, sort options, and filters. Series detail pages include monitored-book search actions for that series.
#Narrators
The Narrators page groups narrator evidence collected from manual edits, provider metadata, STT transcript review, and AI review suggestions. It is a review surface only: it does not write audio tags or metadata by itself.
Use Filter narrator evidence to narrow evidence names. Source filters include All evidence, Manual, Provider, AI Review, and STT transcript. The detail panel shows known works, confidence labels, source counts, review notes, and reversible alias links for standardized narrator names.
The Missing Narrator view shows files without accepted narrator evidence. You can scan selected files with STT, type or accept a proposed narrator, and confirm it as contributor evidence.
#Add New

- You can add new authors or individual books by entering the author's name or a book name here, and selecting it from the result list.
- You'll find the how-to in our Quick Start Guide
- You can also add authors by GoodReads ID, ISBN, or ASIN as needed, using the format shown.

- Click on the author or book name to add it to ReadAIrr. A box will pop up with options for you.

- Root Folder - Select the root folder here. Do not change this if you use Calibre Content Server.
- Monitor - Select the monitoring state of all books for this author.
- Quality Profile - Select the Quality Profile to use when looking for books for this author.
- (Book Only) Metadata Profile - Select the Metadata Profile to use for this book
- Tags - If you would like a tag applied to this author's books, enter it here.
- Start Search for Missing Book(s) - Choose whether to start a historical search of your indexers for all books by this author immediately. If you do not do this, only NEWLY uploaded books will be grabbed from this point forward.
- Add {Author Name} or Add {Book Name} - Click the Add button to add this author to ReadAIrr and start pulling metadata for all books by this author. This process can take some time, so it would be advisable not to add too many authors too quickly.
If you add an individual book, and select
None* for the metadata profile, only that book will show up under the author when it's added. If you want other books for that author added, choose an appropriate metadata profile. * Note thatNonedoes not apply any metadata filters and you may get unwanted foreign editions. To work around these create a metadata profile as prescribed in the faq {.is-warning}
#Unmapped Files

If there are books listed here, then they are unrecognized by ReadAIrr and are not listed as existing library books, but they are in one of the root folders you've defined.
The current Unmapped Files page has server-backed paging, a search field, triage filters, review actions, and grouped multipart audiobook handling. The default triage filter is Needs review (all pages).
Available bulk actions include Add missing, Ignore Selected, Keep Review Selected, Manual Match Selected, Retry Identify, AI Review, Deep Identify Audio, Clear Suggestions, and Delete Selected. AI Review and Deep Identify are manual actions for selected files; suggestions must still be reviewed and accepted.
You can get more info by clicking on the i icon on the right.
You can manually import the book by clicking on the person icon on the right.
You can delete the book file by clicking on the trashcan icon on the right.
You can also click on Add Missing at the top to try to add all books to ReadAIrr. Note that this can be time-intensive if you have a lot of books listed here.
